News and Updates
I'm happy to announce that Sasha Sharp passed her final examination for her Certified Electrologist course today with 100%! This concludes her Certified Electrologist program. I am maring her practical instruction over the next wee or so and forwarding the results to the school. This means that starting January Sasha will be available for sessions as a Certified Electrologist at an introductory rate of $90 /hour . Those who have modelled for Sasha for her learning, our eteranal thank you. You will continue to be supported on the basis you have agreed to by Sasha as she starts her practice alongside me at Electrolysis by Seana .
Hours have changed for the winter. We will be open 10-6:30pm mon to Wed, 10 To 7 on thursdays and 10- 6 pm fridays. Sasha has differing hours but willbe taking on more weekend and evening hours asshe graduates from Swansons.
I am entering some short shifts on chosen saturdays,( usually 10-2 pm) but these will appear only on certain weeks, and often with little more than a week or two in advance notice. If you dont see a slot on saturday, check in again at a later time. We've seen a significant decline in bookings since June of this year right about the same time that I stopped working Saturdays and later evenings. My hours are now very close to the same (actually a little more since I am working Mondays when I wsnt previously as well) than they were this time last year. Traditionally summers level off, but it's been a little more significant this year.I'm working hard to change that. Sasha is also very close to graduating from Swansons and at that time she too will be offering coverage on weekends, and into the evenings. All of this is to regain the client who work in government service, who are not able to attend during my mostly daytime hours.Sasha will be working some evenings until 8 pm,however, as she too has family obligations it wont be every night. MAintaining a work life balance prevents both of us from becoming burned out ( which was very nearly the case with myself this later spring).
Yes we are currently accepting new clients.Electrolysis by Seana specializes in transgender care, and hair removal for those with hormonal imbalance due to disorders such as Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome.
Those who would like to volunteer as models for student electrolysis with electrologist Sasha Sharp can do though our regular Jane booking link above.
Please note that while training sessions with Sasha are currently free, Nov 15 and after she will be charging a modest fee . Those who have started with her and would be disadvantaged by this will continue to be supported on the basis under which you started . All new models will incur a charge of $30 + hst per hour to help Sasha cover expenses while she supports you . I know Sasha appreciates every person who helps her to gain experience though these sessions. Models are a vital part of getting her the practice she needs to serve the transgender and hair removal communities. Sessions are booked longer than actually needed on purpose, to give time for breaks, organization and preparation.
Please take note of our cancellations policy. We do not permit cancellations withing 72 hours of appointment time without full payment for the appointment BEFORE your next booking. Appointments of 2 hours or greater duration incur a 50% fee within 7 days notice of cancellation or full payment is required , and full payment within 72 hours if a cancellation occurs. . It leaves insufficient time to book your vacated appointment and costs us money. Further take note that those who on short notice cancel their first appointment or fail to show up with us, are not permitted to book again. It sets a bad precedent for your relationship with us, and interferes with our ability to provide the service.

Upgrades to the new work space bringing it up to my professional standards , Being completed right now during month of May
May 30 2021
Updates to my home office are 95% complete at this point, just a few finishing touches to take care of and I'll be ready to go ! The space at 1241 Wellington is officially closed, I handed in the keys on Sunday. It was so strange seeing it empty! I put so much of my time into fixing up and maintaining that space to perfection. I'll miss the walk by traffic but not the stress it brought on my life.
Looking forward to 2021 working from my home ( a wonderful commute ) which allows me to balance family obligations and professional life and reduce my costs footprint.
Looking forward to seeing each and every one of you when permitted.
