Important News:
Electrolysis By Seana will be moving to Moncton New Brunswick beginning on April 10 2026 and colocating premises with Balanced Hair extensions and Laser Hair removal. Balanced is located at 149 King street in Dieppe New Brunswick. The Ottawa location will be closed in the new year, but Seana is still accepting clients personally until March 20 . Sasha is also planning to stay until then,and may be in this location or another location as of April 1. She is still determining this.
In the mean time I am emptying and cleaning my home, and arranging to hand care for my youngest child to my ex-spouse.
It has been my honour to serve both a trnsgender and CIS clientele here in Ottawa for now going on 20 years.
Unfortunately my personal cost of living here in Ottawa has exceded my means, and it's time to now go. I'm working towards retirement and developing my property for full time living over the next year or two.
If you'd like to get a few treatments in before you go I'd be happy to assist.
Into this spring Sasha is developing her own booking site, website and business presence as I begin the process of spurring her into her own electrolysis entity. Sasha will be launching her own business this coming 2026 and I'm helping her with that now. Her rates are changing in the new year however
I am encouraging all to support Sasha in her business. As I edge toward retirement age in the next 5-7 years I am weaning off my time in Ontario and passing what remains of my clientele to her. She has my full support and her dedication to the transgender community both meets and in some ways excedes my own. This is part of the reason I havent charged her for training with me through Swansons. I dont make anything from her currently, and that's because of my own desire to leave the community here as well off as it has been while I was here,or better.
When you pay Sasha at end of treatment, you are paying her and her business directly, she runs her own business utilizing some of the resources and knowledge from working along side me. Currently, I'm mostly donating those resources to her to help her build a viable practise. One that eventually, I hope to eventually fully replace my own as I can do a little less getting older.
Sasha's rates start at $90 /hour with varying rates which is extremely reasonable for electrolysis in Ottawa. Please support her as she builds her career here!
Yes we are currently accepting new clients.Electrolysis by Seana specializes in transgender care, and hair removal for those with hormonal imbalance due to disorders such as Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome.
Please take note of our cancellations policy. We do not permit cancellations withing 72 hours of appointment time without full payment for the appointment BEFORE your next booking. Appointments of 2 hours or greater duration incur a 50% fee within 7 days notice of cancellation or full payment is required , and full payment within 72 hours if a cancellation occurs. . It leaves insufficient time to book your vacated appointment and costs us money. Further take note that those who on short notice cancel their first appointment or fail to show up with us, are not permitted to book again. It sets a bad precedent for your relationship with us, and interferes with our ability to provide the service.

Updates to my home office are 95% complete at this point, just a few finishing touches to take care of and I'll be ready to go ! The space at 1241 Wellington is officially closed, I handed in the keys on Sunday. It was so strange seeing it empty! I put so much of my time into fixing up and maintaining that space to perfection. I'll miss the walk by traffic but not the stress it brought on my life.
Looking forward to 2021 working from my home ( a wonderful commute ) which allows me to balance family obligations and professional life and reduce my costs footprint.
Looking forward to seeing each and every one of you when permitted.
